After experiencing problems of her own, Jo Leach is training to be a volunteer for Home-Start, the charity that supports parents of young children. She tells Katie Jarvis about her Cotswold life.
Mum of three Jo Leach is training to be a volunteer for the charity Home-Start Stroud and Gloucester. As Jo will tell you, it’s an amazing charity that supports parents of young children in their own homes, as well as via community groups: “No judgement; just compassionate, confidential help and expert support,” it promises. For Home-Start, the early years of a child’s life are crucial; and the best way to nourish them is by supporting parents through the challenges they can bring.
