Play-Start at The Arkell Community Centre, Forest Green, Nailsworth
Welcome to Play-Start at The Arkell. We aim to provide a friendly, welcoming space with a range of activities and opportunities for you to play with your children. We hope it also gives you the chance to get to know others in your community, to form connections which may last long after your children leave the group.
Our Play-Start Group is committed to supporting families in the local Forest Green/Nailsworth area and those referred to Home-Start by professionals, thanks to the vital funding we receive.
Join us on Fridays during term-time, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am for a fun time filled with chat, learning, and connection.
- Explore our outdoor space.
- Messy play, allow your kids to get stuck in!
- Snack time – healthy snacks available for the small ones, fostering independence and a hot drink and biscuits available for parents.
- Story corner.
- Baby area sensory toys and mats for babes in arms
- Craft activities to do alongside your children to mark a holiday or time of year.

All our groups are currently full for December. If you are interested in signing up for one of our groups, we will be running new groups again in September, watch this space for updates!
This wonderful Group has been just as beneficial to me as it has to my little one. To see them experiencing so many new things through sensory play is so magical.
